Dr. Leon Lederman presented his vision of a better method for teaching science. Project ARISE is based upon a collaboration of scientists and science teachers in order to promote scientific literacy.

Richard Kissel explained the tremendous effort that was put forth to get the science right while developing the Field Museum's new permanent exhibit, Evolving Planet. All of the exhibit materials including lesson plans, classroom activities, and video lectures are available for free on the Evolving Planet's homepage.
