The most powerful and easiest method of developing online content is the streaming video presentation. With relatively cheap digital technology, a video presentation can be recorded and quickly uploaded to a variety of free host sites like Yahoo! Video, and the infamous YouTube. In the high school setting, creating streaming video presentations not only gives students 24 hour access to relevant content, but also allows parents to get more involved in the educational process. I have been told on many occasions how students enjoy sharing their classroom videos with the extended family on holidays. At parent teacher conferences I am often asked when the series of videos will be placed on the internet, because they had so much “fun” watching the last ones.
